Masked intruders murder ex‑soldier’s wife in Malia, steal ₹70,000 and gold jewellery

A violent intrusion took place on Thursday in the village of Malia, located about five kilometres from Tarn Taran in Punjab. Masked assailants forced their way into a residence and used an electric current to kill the wife of a former soldier. The attackers then fled with a haul that included ₹70,000 in cash and roughly 2.5 tola of gold jewellery. Police investigations revealed that CCTV footage captured the masked intruders entering the house, providing crucial leads for the ongoing probe. Authorities are now pursuing the suspects and have appealed to the public for any information that could aid the case.
