The Governor of Manipur visited the India-Myanmar border to review the ongoing fencing project aimed at enhancing security along the frontier.
The Governor of Manipur, Shri S. K. Singh, toured the India-Myanmar border to assess the progress of the fencing project designed to strengthen security along the frontier.
He met with officials from the Border Security Force and the Ministry of Home Affairs, reviewing the sections of the fence that have been completed and the areas still under construction.
The Governor expressed satisfaction with the pace of work and emphasized that the project will help curb illegal crossings and smuggling along the porous border.
