The Manipur state administration announced plans to facilitate the return of residents displaced by recent unrest.
Manipur's chief minister's office issued a statement confirming that the state government is actively working to bring back people who were forced to leave their homes during the recent disturbances. The administration said it is coordinating with local authorities to identify safe zones and provide temporary shelter for those returning.
Officials outlined that relief teams are being deployed to affected districts to assist with basic necessities such as food, medical aid and transport.
