Two youths were swept away while crossing a flooded bridge in Mandla district. Locals helped rescue them, preventing a major accident.
A heavy downpour in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh led to the flooding of a local nullah. Two youths on a bike were attempting to cross the flooded bridge when they were swept away. Fortunately, the locals intervened and managed to rescue one of the youths. The other youth was carried away by the strong currents for about 2 kilometers before being rescued. The timely intervention of the locals prevented a major tragedy from occurring.
