Mamitha Baiju Cast as Lead Actress in Rishab Shetty’s Pan‑India Film “Jai Hanuman”
Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju has been selected as the female lead in the upcoming pan‑India movie “Jai Hanuman”, directed by Prashant Varma and starring Rishab Shetty.
Rishab Shetty’s next pan‑India venture, titled “Jai Hanuman”, will feature Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju in the lead female role. The casting decision was announced as part of the film’s pre‑production updates.
The film is being directed by Prashant Varma, with Shetty himself playing the central character. Baiju’s inclusion marks her first major role in a pan‑India project, expanding her presence beyond the Malayalam film industry.
Industry observers note that the collaboration brings together talent from Karnataka and Kerala, reflecting the growing trend of cross‑regional casting in Indian cinema. The production is expected to begin soon, though further details on the storyline and release schedule have not been disclosed.
