Maharashtra Raises Age Limit for State Recruitment Exams

Mumbai, Maharashtra – The state government issued a notification this week raising the maximum age limit for a number of its recruitment examinations. The amendment applies to upcoming tests conducted by various state agencies, aiming to broaden the pool of eligible candidates. Officials said the change reflects a response to feedback from job seekers who faced age-related disqualification. The revised criteria are expected to be reflected in the next round of application forms, which will be released shortly. Candidates are advised to review the updated eligibility details on the official portals before applying.
