The ruling Mahayuti alliance secured two seats in the Maharashtra Legislative Council polls, while vote counting for the remaining seats is still in progress.
The latest results from the Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC) elections show that the ruling Mahayuti alliance has clinched two seats. The counting of votes for the remaining seats is still underway, and officials have not released the final tally for those constituencies.
Election officials confirmed that the two seats won by Mahayuti were declared after the first phase of counting, but they declined to provide detailed vote margins. The alliance, which currently governs the state, views the early wins as a positive indicator ahead of the full result.
The ongoing counting process is expected to conclude within the next few days, after which the complete composition of the council will be known. Political analysts say the final outcome could influence the balance of power in the state legislature.
Stakeholders, including opposition parties, are closely monitoring the developments, emphasizing the importance of a transparent and timely declaration of the remaining results.
