Maharashtra Farmers to Protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, Promise Major Announcement

Maharashtra’s farming community has called for a demonstration at Jantar Mantar in the national capital. The organizers said the protest will bring together a large number of farmers from across the state.
The rally is planned at the historic Jantar Mantar site, a frequent venue for mass agitations in Delhi. Participants intend to use the platform to voice their concerns and demand redressal of issues affecting agriculture in Maharashtra.
During the protest, the farmers have promised to unveil a major announcement that they claim will impact the state’s farming sector. Details of the announcement have not been disclosed, but the statement suggests it could involve policy demands or a new collective action plan.
The movement reflects ongoing unrest among Indian farmers who are seeking greater support from the government. Authorities have been informed of the planned gathering, and security arrangements are expected to be put in place to ensure a peaceful demonstration.
