The draft has already garnered more than 11,000 suggestions from students, parents, educators and industry stakeholders, reflecting widespread interest in shaping the future of coaching in the state.
In response to the volume of feedback, the Education Department has extended the public consultation deadline to 15 September, giving respondents additional time to submit comments and concerns.
After the extended period closes, the government will review the submissions and is expected to finalise the regulation later this year, with the aim of implementing clearer guidelines for coaching institutions.
