Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at the organization’s Nagpur headquarters, according to Mid‑Day.
Maharashtra’s chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, held a meeting with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on Wednesday. The encounter was reported by the daily Mid‑Day, which confirmed the presence of both leaders at the venue.
The discussion took place at the Sangh’s central office, a key hub for the organization’s activities in the state. While the specific agenda was not disclosed, the meeting underscores the continuing dialogue between the state government and the RSS, which wields considerable influence in Maharashtra’s political landscape.
Observers note that such interactions are routine, given the RSS’s role as a parent organization of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. No statements or policy announcements emerged from the meeting, and both sides have so far refrained from commenting publicly.
The gathering reflects the ongoing coordination between elected officials and ideological partners as they navigate governance challenges in the state.
