The Mahakaleshwar Temple committee announced that all devotees will now receive free prasad alongside the darshan, sparking enthusiasm nationwide.
The management of Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain has introduced an unprecedented scheme whereby every pilgrim will be offered free prasad after the darshan. The decision, announced by the temple committee, aims to provide a seamless and dignified experience for worshippers.
Devotees from remote villages and distant states have welcomed the move, describing it as a generous gesture that enhances the spiritual atmosphere of the shrine. The initiative is expected to attract millions of visitors who travel across the country to seek the deity's blessings.
The distribution of the prasad will be organized at the temple premises to ensure orderly access and respect for the sanctity of the offering. Officials said the system will be simple, with volunteers handing out the prasadam immediately after the viewing of the deity.
