The Madhya Pradesh government’s ₹234‑crore Bombardier Challenger 3500, fitted with a voice‑controlled cabin and custom seats, is slated to land in Delhi, with a twin‑engine helicopter expected by December.
The Madhya Pradesh administration has placed an order for a Bombardier Challenger 3500 business jet worth approximately ₹234 crore. The aircraft, classified as a luxury state plane, features a voice‑controlled cabin and specially designed seating intended for official travel.
According to officials, the jet will be delivered to Delhi in the coming weeks, where it will be handed over to the state government for use in high‑level delegations and emergency missions. The plane’s range of 6,297 km allows it to operate non‑stop across the country and to neighboring regions.
In addition to the jet, the state expects to receive a new twin‑engine helicopter by December, further expanding its aerial fleet for rapid response and VIP transport.
The procurement reflects Madhya Pradesh’s effort to modernise its transport assets and improve connectivity for government officials, especially in remote districts.
