The Madhya Pradesh government will convene the Yatri Parivahan Vision Summit in Indore from September 11 to 12, gathering transport stakeholders to explore future mobility solutions.
Indore, Madhya Pradesh – The state’s tourism and transport departments have announced that Indore will host the Yatri Parivahan Vision Summit on September 11 and 12. The two‑day event aims to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, technology providers and civil‑society groups to chart a roadmap for sustainable and smart travel across the region.
Organisers expect participation from state officials, representatives of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and senior executives of major automobile and mobility firms. Sessions will focus on emerging trends such as electric vehicles, integrated ticketing, and data‑driven traffic management.
The summit is positioned as a platform to showcase Indore’s growing infrastructure, including recent upgrades to its public‑transport network and plans for dedicated EV charging corridors. Officials said the dialogue will help align state initiatives with national goals for greener mobility.
Stakeholders will also review policy incentives, funding mechanisms and pilot projects that could be scaled to other Indian cities. The outcome is expected to feed into the state’s broader Yatri Parivahan programme, which seeks to improve passenger experience and reduce carbon emissions.
