At a roadshow in Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh was offered investment proposals worth around ₹90,000 crore, potentially creating 14,375 jobs.
During a recent investment roadshow held in Mumbai, officials representing Madhya Pradesh showcased the state's economic potential to a gathering of national and international investors. The event focused on sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and renewable energy, highlighting the government's incentives and ease‑of‑doing‑business reforms.
Investors collectively put forward proposals amounting to roughly ₹90,000 crore. If the commitments materialise, they are expected to generate about 14,375 direct employment opportunities across the state.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan described the state as a "cradle of possibilities," emphasizing its strategic location and skilled workforce as key drivers for attracting large‑scale capital.
State officials said the proposals will be evaluated in the coming weeks, with a view to finalising agreements and initiating projects that could boost the region's industrial output and job market.
