Representatives of the OBC community met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Bhopal, urging the revival of the 27% reservation, a stronger Supreme Court plea and a fresh survey, while seeking relief on the 13% hold positions.

In a meeting held in Bhopal, a delegation representing the Other Backward Classes (OBC) met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to press for the reinstatement of the 27% reservation quota that had been curtailed earlier. The group highlighted the need for a robust legal challenge in the Supreme Court and called for a fresh socio‑economic survey to update the data underpinning the reservation policy.

The representatives also raised concerns over the 13% hold positions that currently limit OBC candidates in certain posts, urging the state government to provide immediate relief. They argued that easing this restriction would improve employment opportunities for the community.

While the meeting focused on these specific demands, the delegation did not disclose any further political or legislative steps, leaving the next course of action to be determined by the state administration and the courts.
