The Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Medical Education has pushed the last date for the 2026 NEET UG mop‑up round admissions to 16 October.
The Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Medical Education announced on its portal that candidates seeking admission through the 2026 NEET UG mop‑up round now have until 16 October to submit their applications. The extension provides additional time for aspirants who missed the regular counselling schedule to secure seats in state‑run medical colleges.
Applicants are required to complete the online registration, upload the necessary documents and pay the prescribed fee before the new deadline. The Directorate has reiterated that all other eligibility criteria and seat allocation procedures remain unchanged.
The decision follows several requests from students and coaching centres for a longer window to complete the paperwork. The updated timeline will be reflected on the official medadmit.in portal and related state admission websites.
