On KBC season 18, Madhuri Dixit surprised Amitabh Bachchan by showing his iconic ‘Ek Do Teen’ dance, prompting the veteran actor to admit he felt embarrassed.
Madhuri Dixit appeared as a special guest on the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 18 and played a video of Amitabh Bachchan performing the ‘Ek Do Teen’ dance sequence from the 1988 film *Tezaab*. The clip was shown while the legendary actor was seated in the hot seat, catching him off guard.
Bachchan, who is widely regarded as a stalwart of Indian cinema, reacted with visible discomfort and later remarked that watching the performance made him feel embarrassed, adding that a beautiful song can be ruined when it is turned into a dance routine.
The ‘Ek Do Teen’ number, originally choreographed by Saroj Khan and featuring Madhuri herself, remains one of Bollywood’s most celebrated dance sequences. By revisiting it on a popular television quiz show, the producers sparked nostalgia among viewers and highlighted the enduring appeal of classic Bollywood moments.
Audience members and social media users responded with a mix of amusement and admiration, noting that the unexpected crossover between two cinema icons added a memorable twist to the quiz show’s format.
