Kuno National Park: Five of 12 Breeding Cheetahs Give Birth, Boosting Population

Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh has reported the birth of cubs by five of its 12 breeding female cheetahs, a development that signals progress in the species' conservation. The Project Cheeta initiative, aimed at increasing cheetah numbers, has monitored the animals closely, noting healthy pregnancies and successful deliveries. Wildlife officials are continuing to track the remaining seven females to assess future breeding prospects. The births are seen as a positive indicator for the long‑term viability of the cheetah population in the region.
