Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation launched special Dasara tour packages, moving 1,128 passengers as the festival began.
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced dedicated tour packages to coincide with the Dasara celebrations. The initiative aims to provide organised, affordable travel options for festival-goers across the state.
Within a short span after the launch, the KSRTC Dasara packages have carried a total of 1,128 passengers, reflecting strong demand for coordinated transport during the holiday period. The corporation deployed its fleet on selected routes connecting major cities and pilgrimage sites associated with the festivities.
KSRTC officials said the packages are part of the agency's effort to enhance public transport usage during peak cultural events, ensuring safety and convenience for travelers. The corporation plans to continue monitoring passenger response and may expand the service in subsequent years.
