The Kashmir Power Development Corporation has announced a revision of power cut timings throughout the region.
Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) issued a notice today indicating that the timings for scheduled power curtailments across the Kashmir valley have been revised. The utility said the adjustment aims to better match electricity supply with fluctuating demand patterns in the region.
According to the statement, the new schedule will be communicated to consumers through official channels and will take effect from the next operational cycle. KPDCL urged households and businesses to stay updated to minimise inconvenience.
The revision comes amid ongoing efforts to stabilise the power grid in the valley, where seasonal variations and infrastructure constraints often affect supply continuity. Officials did not disclose specific time slots or the duration of the curtailments, emphasizing that the changes are intended to improve overall reliability.
Consumers are advised to monitor local news bulletins and KPDCL’s website for detailed timing information and any further updates.
