The Karnataka Minister visited the Bengaluru IT corridor on Tuesday after local media reported rising concerns over civic mess and sanitation in the area.
During the inspection, the minister walked along the main roads of the corridor, noting the state of street cleanliness, waste disposal facilities and public amenities.
Officials from the municipal corporation and the IT parks’ management were present to explain the measures already in place and to discuss plans for further improvement.
The visit comes as part of the state government’s effort to maintain the city’s reputation as a leading technology hub while addressing residents’ quality‑of‑life issues.
