The Karnataka government has notified the Textile & Apparel Policy 2026-31, a comprehensive framework designed to strengthen the state's textile ecosystem.
Under the new policy, the state will offer tax rebates, subsidies for setting up modern textile units, and support for skill development programs. The government also plans to upgrade existing textile parks and establish new clusters to create a conducive environment for growth.
Implementation will be overseen by the Department of Textiles and the Industrial Development Corporation of Karnataka. Stakeholders are invited to submit proposals by the end of the year, with the first phase of incentives expected to roll out in early 2027.
