Karan Lamba's unbeaten century steers Rajasthan past Tamil Nadu on flat pitch

Rajasthan’s middle order anchored the Ranji Trophy encounter against Tamil Nadu after Karan Lamba reached an unbeaten century. Lamba’s knock, built on a mix of drives and cuts, provided the backbone of a total that put the visitors in a commanding position.

The match was played on a flat, low‑bounce deck that offered little assistance to bowlers, forcing both sides to rely heavily on technique and patience. While Rajasthan’s top order capitalised on the easy conditions, Tamil Nadu’s batsmen found runs hard to come by, losing wickets at regular intervals.

By the time Lamba’s innings concluded, Rajasthan had posted a respectable score that left Tamil Nadu under pressure. The innings highlighted the importance of composure on batting‑friendly pitches and underscored Lamba’s growing stature in domestic cricket.

The game continues to be watched closely as both teams vie for crucial points in the tournament’s group stage, with Rajasthan hoping to build on this performance and Tamil Nadu looking to recover in the remaining overs.
