A upcoming Kannada film will make history by featuring a real humanoid robot named 'Jia' without using any CGI or human actors for the role.
The Indian film industry is set to witness a significant technological milestone with the announcement that a real humanoid robot will feature in an upcoming Kannada production. The robot, named 'Jia', will appear on screen without the aid of computer-generated imagery (CGI) or a human actor performing the role.
This development marks a first for Indian cinema, distinguishing the project from previous films that have relied on visual effects to simulate robotic characters. The decision to use a physical, functioning humanoid robot aims to bring a new level of realism to the narrative.
The production team has emphasized that the robot's presence will be entirely practical, showcasing the capabilities of current robotics technology in a cinematic context. This approach is expected to draw attention from both film enthusiasts and technology observers across the country.
