The Karnataka government body is offering daily conversation training to help non‑Kannada speaking employees communicate better in the city’s major tech parks.

Bengaluru – The Kannada Development Authority (KDA) has started free “Simple Kannada” conversation training classes for employees from other states who work in the city’s major IT tech parks. The initiative aims to make daily interactions easier for non‑Kannada speaking staff.

The classes are scheduled daily and focus on basic conversational skills, common workplace phrases and cultural etiquette. They are open to all out‑of‑state employees across the tech parks, with no registration fee.

KDA officials said the program will enhance workplace integration and improve overall communication within the tech ecosystem. Participants are expected to gain practical language ability that can be applied immediately on the job.

The authority will monitor attendance and feedback to refine the curriculum, with plans to expand the offering to other districts if demand grows.
