Kanak News Odisha launches '7AM Headlines' morning bulletin

Kanak News Odisha introduced a fresh morning news slot titled "7AM Headlines" on 16 October 2026. The half‑hour bulletin is scheduled to air at 7 a.m. and aims to deliver the day’s most important Odia news, breaking stories and quick updates for early‑day viewers.
The program will cover a mix of local developments, state‑level politics, weather alerts and cultural events, positioning itself as a concise alternative to longer news shows. Anchors will rotate through a team of seasoned reporters from the channel’s newsroom.
Media analysts note that the launch reflects a growing demand for bite‑sized, early‑morning news among Odisha’s urban audience, especially commuters and students. Kanak News hopes the bulletin will strengthen its foothold in the competitive regional news market.
The channel also announced plans to stream the bulletin live on its digital platforms, allowing viewers to access the content on smartphones and tablets.
Overall, "7AM Headlines" marks a strategic expansion of Kanak News Odisha’s programming slate, targeting viewers who seek quick, reliable news at the start of their day.
