Kanak News Odisha aired its new 7AM Headlines program on 4 October 2026, delivering the latest Odia news to morning viewers.
Kanak News Odisha introduced a dedicated morning bulletin titled "7AM Headlines" on 4 October 2026. The half‑hour segment began at 7 a.m., offering a concise roundup of breaking and latest news from across Odisha.
The program focused on developments in politics, health, education and local events, aiming to keep the state's residents informed at the start of their day.
Anchors presented stories in both Odia and English, reflecting the channel's bilingual approach. The launch marks an expansion of Kanak News' morning lineup, which previously featured general news bulletins without a specific headline brand.
Industry observers note that the move aligns with a broader trend among regional broadcasters to provide time‑specific news blocks that cater to commuters and early‑rise audiences.
