Kanak News rolled out its 7AM Headlines segment on 3 October 2026, delivering the latest Odia news and breaking stories.
Kanak News introduced a new 7AM Headlines bulletin on 3 October 2026, positioning it as the first daily roundup of Odia-language news for early‑morning viewers. The segment, broadcast from the network's Bhubaneswar studio, aims to provide a concise mix of breaking developments, political updates, and regional events before the workday begins.
The bulletin covers a range of topics, from state‑level policy announcements to local cultural happenings, and is streamed both on the channel's television feed and its digital platform kanaknews.com. Editors emphasized that the format will prioritize speed and accuracy, with reporters on the ground feeding live updates as stories unfold.
Industry observers note that the launch reflects a broader trend among regional media houses to capture audience attention during the early‑hour slot, a period traditionally dominated by national channels. By focusing on Odia news, Kanak News hopes to strengthen its foothold among the state's readership and attract advertisers seeking regional exposure.
