The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) released the names of a 15‑player squad selected to represent the state in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, a national under‑19 cricket competition. The announcement was made through JKCA’s official channels and confirms the team’s participation in the tournament scheduled later this season.
The Vinoo Mankad Trophy serves as a key platform for young talent to showcase their skills and earn selection for higher‑level domestic and international squads. JKCA’s selection panel evaluated performances in state‑level tournaments and training camps before finalising the roster.
JKCA officials expressed confidence that the chosen players will uphold the state’s cricketing reputation and gain valuable experience against peers from across India. Preparations, including practice matches and fitness programmes, are set to intensify as the tournament approaches.
