The state government of Jammu and Kashmir has restructured the probe committee into a patient’s death, appointing two new members.

The Jammu and Kashmir government announced that it has revised the composition of the committee investigating the death of a patient at a local medical facility. The decision follows demands for a more comprehensive inquiry.

Two additional members have been added to the panel, bringing fresh expertise to the probe. While the names of the new members have not been disclosed, officials said they possess relevant experience in medical oversight.

The reconstituted committee is tasked with reviewing all medical records, witness statements and other evidence to determine the circumstances of the death. The government has pledged to submit its findings to the Chief Minister’s office within a stipulated timeframe.

No further details have been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
