J&K Bank disburses loans to more than 3,100 youths under Mission YUVA

Jammu and Kashmir Bank announced that it has disbursed loans to more than 3,100 youths under the Mission YUVA scheme, a government initiative aimed at job creation and entrepreneurship in the union territory. The loans, varying in size, are intended to help beneficiaries start small businesses, undertake vocational training, or expand existing enterprises, reflecting the bank's commitment to financial inclusion and regional economic recovery. Mission YUVA, launched by the Jammu and Kashmir government, targets individuals aged 18-35 with financial assistance and skill development, and the latest tranche is expected to generate employment opportunities and stimulate local economies across the region. Bank officials indicated that further disbursements are planned as more eligible applicants come forward, ensuring the scheme’s continuity.
