Jessica Chastain’s Horror Film ‘Other Mommy’ Shows Better Day‑2 Box‑Office Returns

The Jessica Chastain‑led horror picture titled “Other Mommy” posted an improved box‑office collection on its second day of release, according to figures reported by NDTV Profit. The uptick follows a relatively subdued opening day, suggesting that word‑of‑mouth and promotional activities are beginning to draw more viewers.
Industry observers note that the film’s genre and star power are helping it gain traction among urban audiences, especially after mixed critical reviews were tempered by audience curiosity about the thriller’s premise.
Analysts expect the improved Day‑2 performance to bolster the film’s overall earnings trajectory, though they caution that sustained growth will depend on continued audience interest and competition from other releases.
