Jammu & Kashmir to Launch 100 Government Services via WhatsApp

The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a new initiative to digitise a wide range of public services. Under the plan, 100 high‑footfall services will be made available through the popular messaging platform WhatsApp. Citizens can simply send a message to a designated number and receive information or complete transactions without visiting government offices. The move is expected to reduce waiting times and improve accessibility for residents across the state.
