Jammu & Kashmir began their Ranji Trophy season with a dominant bowling performance that put pressure on the opposition.
The Jammu & Kashmir cricket side opened its Ranji Trophy campaign in the latest season of India's premier domestic competition, aiming to set a strong tone for the tournament. The opening fixture saw the team field a disciplined bowling unit that immediately challenged the opposition's batting line‑up.
Across the innings, J&K bowlers consistently extracted movement and maintained tight lines, resulting in a series of early wickets and a low scoring rate for the opponents. Their ability to apply sustained pressure forced the batting side into defensive play, limiting any momentum.
The effective bowling display gave Jammu & Kashmir a solid platform to build on as the season progresses, signalling that the side could be competitive in the upcoming matches of the Ranji Trophy schedule.
