Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet Expanded as Four Ministers Sworn In

The union territory of Jammu and Kashmir announced an expansion of its council of ministers, adding four new members to the cabinet. The swearing‑in ceremony was conducted under the authority of the chief executive, marking the latest reshuffle of the administration.

All four ministers took the oath of office in a formal event, joining the existing team of ministers to oversee various departments. The ceremony underscored the government's intent to broaden its leadership base and address emerging governance challenges.

The cabinet expansion is expected to enhance the government's capacity to implement policies across the region, though specific portfolios for the new ministers have not been disclosed at this stage.
