Jamia Millia Islamia to Hold Student Union Polls After 20-Year Gap

After a two-decade long gap, Jamia Millia Islamia is set to hold student union elections. The university administration has issued an order for the polls to be conducted within 15 days of the constitution's approval. This decision comes after years of student activism and demands for the reinstatement of student representation within the university. The last student union elections at Jamia Millia Islamia were held in 2003.
