Two suspects from Bihar were arrested 26 days after a theft of 251 watches worth around ₹4 crore from the Rado showroom on Tonk Road, Jaipur, following a 3,000‑km pursuit that reached the Nepal border.

Police in Jaipur announced the arrest of two suspects from Bihar in connection with a high‑value theft from the Rado watch showroom on Tonk Road. The gang, identified in police reports as the "Ghodaasan" group, stole 251 luxury watches estimated at roughly four crore rupees.

The investigation, which spanned 26 days, involved a multi‑state chase covering approximately three thousand kilometres. Officers tracked the suspects through a network of more than eight hundred CCTV cameras, piecing together their route from Rajasthan to the Nepal border.

The two accused were apprehended near the Nepal frontier and are now in custody of the Rajasthan police. The case underscores the extensive coordination among law‑enforcement agencies across state lines to recover stolen assets and deter organized crime.

Authorities have not disclosed whether any of the stolen watches have been recovered, but they confirmed that forensic analysis of the CCTV footage was pivotal in locating the perpetrators.

The incident has prompted local retailers to review security protocols, especially in high‑value jewelry and watch outlets, as the police continue to investigate any additional members of the gang.
