Jaipur: Domestic PNG Gas Prices Hike to Rs 53.50 per SCM from Tonight

Domestic pipeline natural gas (PNG) prices in Jaipur will increase from midnight tonight, with the consumer rate rising to Rs 53.50 per standard cubic meter after tax.
Household consumers in Jaipur will face a rise in pipeline natural gas (PNG) prices starting from midnight tonight. The increase affects the cost of cooking fuel for approximately 50,000 households in the city, leading to a slight upward adjustment in their monthly kitchen budgets.
The change follows a revision in the base rate by the gas distribution company, Torrent. The base price of PNG has been increased from Rs 47.91 to Rs 49.77 per standard cubic meter (SCM). This adjustment is part of the periodic pricing mechanisms adopted by gas distributors in the region.
After the addition of applicable taxes, the final price payable by the end consumer will stand at Rs 53.50 per SCM. Residents are advised to check their upcoming bills to reflect the new tariff structure effective from the midnight transition.
