Jailer 2 Surpasses ₹650 Cr, Poised to Break Kollywood’s All‑Time Box‑Office Record

The Tamil‑language sequel Jailer 2 has now amassed box‑office collections exceeding ₹650 crore, according to trade trackers. This milestone places the film on the brink of overtaking the longest‑standing Kollywood revenue record, a benchmark that has remained unchallenged for years. Industry analysts suggest that if the current trend continues, the new record could be confirmed as early as tomorrow. The film’s strong performance reflects robust audience turnout across major markets in Tamil Nadu and overseas Tamil diaspora centres. Producers have not yet announced a formal celebration, but the achievement underscores the growing commercial clout of regional cinema in India.
