The sequel ‘Jailer 2’ has crossed the ₹75 crore mark in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, a milestone that even India’s biggest blockbusters have not achieved.
The Tamil‑language sequel Jailer 2 has become the first film to gross more than ₹75 crore across the four major South Indian markets – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
The cumulative collection, reported by trade trackers, places the movie ahead of the earnings previously recorded by the country’s biggest pan‑India blockbusters in these regions.
Industry analysts said the achievement underscores the growing pull of regional productions and highlights the star power and marketing that propelled Jailer 2 to such a wide‑scale commercial success.
