Jailer 2 sold 6.17 million tickets on BookMyShow during its opening weekend, according to Sacnilk. The film aims to achieve six consecutive days of over one million ticket sales to surpass the record set by Pushpa 2.
The ticket sales figure comes from BookMyShow data tracked by Sacnilk, covering the film's opening weekend across India. Jailer 2, a Tamil (Kollywood) sequel, has shown strong early audience response. The production team is now targeting a streak of six straight days with each day exceeding one million ticket sales. If achieved, this would surpass the consecutive million‑ticket day record previously held by the Pushpa 2 film. The milestone highlights the continuing draw of big‑ticket South Indian releases in the post‑pandemic market.
