Santhanam's rumoured cameo in 'Jailer 2', filmed over 10 days, has been removed from the final cut of the Rajinikanth-starrer.
The production of the highly anticipated film 'Jailer 2' has seen a significant change in its cast lineup. Santhanam, who was reportedly part of the project, has had his role removed from the final version of the movie. This development comes despite the actor having completed a substantial amount of work for the film.
According to reports, Santhanam's cameo appearance was not a minor addition but involved a dedicated filming schedule. The actor spent approximately 10 days on set specifically for this role. However, the decision to cut these scenes was made during the post-production phase, leading to his exclusion from the final release.
The removal of the cameo has sparked curiosity among fans regarding the reasons behind the decision. While the film features a star-studded cast led by Rajinikanth, such casting changes are not uncommon in the film industry due to narrative adjustments or creative decisions by the director and production house.
'Jailer 2' is expected to be a major release, given the popularity of its lead actor and the anticipation surrounding the sequel. The final cut of the film will focus on the remaining cast and storyline, with Santhanam's scenes no longer part of the theatrical release.
