The sequel ‘Jailer 2’ has amassed a net collection of ₹284 crore in Tamil Nadu within 12 days, overtaking ‘Leo’ and showing strong hold in Hindi‑speaking territories.
The Tamil‑language action drama ‘Jailer 2’ recorded a net box‑office collection of ₹284 crore across Tamil Nadu in just twelve days, according to trade sources. This figure places the film ahead of ‘Leo’, which previously held the twelve‑day benchmark in the region.
Industry analysts attribute the rapid earnings to the star power of lead actor Raghava Lawrence and the film’s wide release strategy, which included simultaneous screenings in Hindi‑dubbed format. The Hindi version has maintained a solid occupancy rate, indicating strong cross‑regional appeal.
The momentum is expected to continue as the film moves into its second weekend, with distributors forecasting further growth in both the Tamil and Hindi markets.
