The sequel 'Jailer 2' has crossed the ₹75 crore mark in Kerala, becoming the first Indian movie to earn the same amount in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The Tamil‑language action sequel Jailer 2 has reported a box‑office collection of ₹75 crore from the state of Kerala. The milestone places the film among the highest‑grossing releases in the region for the year.
Industry analysts note that the film’s earnings in Kerala are mirrored in its dubbed versions across the other three major South Indian markets – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. This makes Jailer 2 the first Indian picture to achieve an identical ₹75 crore gross in each of the four languages.
The uniform performance underscores the pan‑regional appeal of the franchise, driven by star power, extensive marketing and a release strategy that synchronized premieres across the four states. Distributors have highlighted the film’s strong occupancy rates and repeat viewership as key contributors to the record.
Box‑office trackers will continue to monitor the film’s trajectory as it completes its theatrical run, but the current figures already set a new benchmark for multilingual releases in India.
