The sequel Jailer 2 has crossed the ₹40 crore mark in Kerala, Karnataka and the combined Andhra Pradesh-Telangana markets within just four days of release, outperforming recent hits Coolie and Leo. Trade analysts say Kerala is nearing break-even and the film is poised to set an all-time record.
Jailer 2's gross earnings in each of the three regions—Kerala, Karnataka, and the combined Andhra Pradesh-Telangana market—have surpassed ₹40 crore within four days of its release. This milestone highlights the film's strong opening across key South Indian markets.
The film's performance has outpaced that of other recent releases such as Coolie and Leo, indicating a stronger audience draw for Jailer 2 in the same timeframe. Trade sources note that the collections have exceeded expectations for these competing titles.
In Kerala specifically, the cumulative collections are reported to be approaching the break-even point, with exhibitors optimistic that the film could eventually set an all-time record for the state if the current trend continues.
