The Rajinikanth‑starrer Jailer 2 saw a sharp decline in its box‑office collections on the 19th day, following a robust opening weekend.
The Tamil‑language film Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, entered its 19th day in theatres with a noticeable slowdown in revenue. After a strong opening weekend that boosted the film’s earnings, the daily collections have dropped sharply, indicating a waning audience interest.
Industry observers attribute the dip to the typical post‑weekend decline, as newer releases compete for screen space and viewer attention. The film’s performance remains under close watch, given the star power of Rajinikanth and the high expectations surrounding the sequel.
Box‑office analysts will continue to monitor the trend over the coming days to assess whether the decline stabilises or deepens, which will shape the overall profitability outlook for Jailer 2.
The latest figures were reported by NDTV Profit, which tracks daily earnings of Indian films.
Stakeholders, including distributors and theatre owners, are likely to adjust their strategies based on the evolving revenue pattern as the film moves beyond its initial hype phase.
