ITV has announced changes to the airing times of its flagship soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street for the upcoming week.
ITV has updated its weekly timetable for two of its most popular soap operas, Emmerdale and Coronation Street, effective from this week.
Under the new schedule, Emmerdale will air at a revised time slot, while Coronation Street will also be moved to a different part of the evening. The changes are part of ITV’s effort to optimise viewership across its daytime and primetime line‑ups.
Both shows will continue to broadcast the same number of episodes, but viewers will need to adjust to the new timings. The network has urged fans to check the official ITV website or the on‑screen guide for the precise new times.
This adjustment follows a routine review of programming, and ITV has stated that the shift will not affect the overall episode count for either series.
