ISRO scientists have successfully completed the final technical inspections of a new weather and ocean research satellite slated for launch next month from Sriharikota.

ISRO announced that the final technical checks for a new joint weather and ocean research satellite have been successfully completed under the supervision of its scientists.

The satellite, designed for advanced climate monitoring and oceanographic studies, is scheduled to be launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh next month.

The successful completion of the checks marks a key milestone in the mission timeline, paving the way for the integration and fueling phases ahead of the launch.

The launch is part of ISRO's ongoing efforts to enhance India's capabilities in meteorology and marine science, providing higher‑resolution data for weather forecasting and ocean health monitoring.
