Divisional Commissioner Bhaskar Lakshakar and Collector Shivam Verma inspected a 6km elevated corridor and the under‑construction Satya Sai flyover in Indore, directing its completion by December.
Indore officials inspected a major infrastructure project aimed at decongesting the city’s primary thoroughfares. Divisional Commissioner Bhaskar Lakshakar, accompanied by District Collector Shivam Verma, visited the 6‑kilometre elevated corridor that will run above the city’s busiest lanes.
The site also includes a flyover at the Satya Sai intersection, which is currently under construction. During the inspection, the officials emphasized the need to expedite work to meet the scheduled deadline.
Both officials have instructed the responsible agencies to ensure that the Satya Sai flyover is fully operational by December, signalling a push to improve traffic flow ahead of the festive season.
The project is part of a broader plan to modernise Indore’s road network, aiming to reduce travel time and enhance safety for commuters.
Local residents are expected to benefit from smoother traffic movement once the elevated corridor and flyover become functional.
