The Madhya Pradesh government will hold a two‑day Semiconductor Summit 2026 in Indore on October 23‑24, featuring more than 50 technology firms and an inauguration by the state chief minister.
Indore is set to become the focal point of India’s semiconductor and advanced‑technology push as the state government organizes the Semiconductor Summit 2026 on October 23 and 24. The event, hosted at the Indore Convention Centre, is intended to position Madhya Pradesh as a major investment destination for chip manufacturing and related research.
More than fifty domestic and international technology firms are slated to exhibit their latest semiconductor solutions, ranging from design tools to fabrication equipment. The summit will also include panel discussions on policy incentives, skill development, and supply‑chain integration aimed at attracting large‑scale investments.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will formally open the summit, underscoring the government's commitment to building a dedicated ecosystem for high‑tech manufacturing in the state. Officials expect the gathering to catalyse partnerships that could lead to the establishment of fabrication units and ancillary facilities in the region.
Organisers have highlighted that the summit aligns with the central government’s broader semiconductor mission, seeking to reduce India’s reliance on imports and create high‑value jobs. Stakeholders will also explore opportunities for collaboration with academic institutions and research labs to nurture a skilled workforce.
The two‑day program will conclude with a roadmap presentation outlining the next steps for transforming Madhya Pradesh into a semiconductor hub, with follow‑up actions expected to be announced in the coming months.
